Do You Need a Dumpster Permit in Beaumont, TX?

For a dumpster on your own driveway or property, the Beaumont code we reviewed sets no permit requirement. A dumpster can't go in the street: Beaumont Code §22.05.105 bars private haulers' containers from any street or right-of-way in the city. Plan for the driveway or yard.

What does Beaumont city code say about a dumpster permit?

Beaumont city code keeps roll-off dumpsters off public streets. Section 22.05.105 says private collectors' containers shall not be placed on any street or right-of-way within the city, and collection is made from the customer's premises. That makes your driveway, yard or job-site lot the place for a Beaumont dumpster.

Where should my dumpster go in Beaumont?

In Beaumont, put the dumpster on your driveway or another firm spot on your property. Our drivers set wooden boards under the rails to protect concrete and asphalt. The truck typically needs about 60 feet of straight approach and 23 feet of overhead clearance, so check for low live-oak limbs and wires.

Does my Beaumont HOA allow a dumpster?

Many Beaumont subdivisions have HOA rules that limit how long a dumpster can sit in a driveway or require notice first. Those rules are private, so check your HOA documents or management company before delivery. Our 7-day standard rental fits most short HOA windows, and we pick up early when you call.

Which Beaumont jobs need a dumpster?

Beaumont jobs that need a dumpster are the ones city heavy trash refuses: remodel and building debris, shingles, insulation, brick, dirt and plaster. Contractors and construction sites are not served by heavy-trash pickup at all, so their debris always needs a roll-off or a paid landfill trip.
